UPDATE: We got a update regarding the exam date. UPPRPB has announced that exam is going to be held on 19 and 20 December 2020 for Jail Warder/ Fireman / Constable Horse Rider Positions.
It is going to be conducted in Offline mode. They have given this piece of news in their notice which is uploaded on their portal. For your help we are adding that link below. Kindly go through it and read in detail.
UP Police Jail Warder Admit Card
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has said that recruitment of jail warder is going to happen against 3638 Vacant Posts and 2065 vacant posts is of Fireman.
Last but not least 102 Post of Constable Horse Riders is also vacant which are going to be filled by board. After very long time the board has made this announcement of recruitment which brought smiles to thousands of aspirants who are living in dream of getting a job soon.
Online Apply process was started on 18 January and ended on 24 February 2019. Only UP Police Recruitment Board has rights to publish admit card of candidates. No one will get their hall ticket on their registered address. You have to get it from site itself once uploaded.

Selection Process – UP Police Jail Warder
Selection will be done in 3 rounds which includes written exam, physical test, Personal Interview which will come under the scanner of Uttar Pradesh Worker Administration and Correctional Department.
Cadre manuals 2016 and 2017, will be followed in the selection process. Verification of all documents will be done while selection process kicks in. As instructed in manual all rounds will take place n the commandery of the Selection Committee and the selected candidates will be promoted to the next round. Height of at least 168 cm and chest should be of 79 cms in fitness test.
Important Points to Remember
- Candidate should verify all the entries on admit card after it gets published. Contact board if facing any discrepancy in it.
- Basic details like exam centre address, Your Name, Time will be given in admit card.
- No need to wait till the very end. Download it as soon as possible to not face last time rush.
- All candidates must have to show their admit card while appearing on exam centre, failing to do so may reject your candidature.
- It’s must to carry print copy of Jail Warder Admit Card 2021 in classroom. If asked for photograph then you should bring it.
Jail Warder Exam Pattern
- Negative Marking is part of examination so study hard to cope up with.
- Exam will carry total 300 Marks, Questions
- Only Objective questions will be asked
- Question Paper is divided into various sections: General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical & Mental Ability, Mental aptitude, Intelligence, Logical Ability
- 1 Marks will be awarded for every correct answer
