Rajasthan REET Syllabus – Level 1 & Level 2 , Latest News: If we consider news that’s going on here and there shows that Rajasthan Board is seriously thinking about taking further steps in uploading the reet recruitment notification very soon.

Basically this REET 2021 exam is for those who want themselves to be 3rd grade teacher in Government Schools of Rajasthan, such candidates can apply online for it once invitation process starts for vacancies on web portal.

Syllabus 2021 Update Education Minister of Rajasthan – Govind Dotasara has said while attending facebook live session that in REET 2021 there will be no changes in syllabus. Reason behind is that existing syllabus is already based on NCT 2011 guidelines.

UPDATE (05/01/2021)

Eligibility for Level-1 exam of REET 2020 is changed. Only those candidates who have done BSTC (Basic School Teaching Course) can apply for REET Teachers Recruitment 2021. Also note that total vacancies are increased to 32,000 from 31,000. They have also changed the syllabus of REET. Few topics related to geography, history, arts and culture of Rajasthan are added into the syllabus of teachers exam. Reason for this addition is given by board. They have said that in past few years there has been massive change came into effect in school books. That’s why they made few changes and also following all the NCTE guidelines.

UPDATE : 18.12.2020

Rajasthan Chief Minister has announced today that REET Teacher Exam, Rajasthan is going to be conducted on 25 April 2021. They have also given update about the eligibility marks for reserved category. Complete detail is given below along with original image. Notification is going to be released in next 5-10 days.

रीट आरक्षित वर्गों को पात्रता अंकों में 5 फीसदी से लेकर 20 फीसदी अंकों तक की रियायत मिलेगी। अब कुछ ही दिनों में रीट नोटिफिकेशन 2021 जारी कर दिया जाएगा।

  • सामान्य / अनारक्षित श्रेणी : 60 प्रतिशत (टीएसपी व नॉन टीएसपी)
  • अनुसूचित जनजाति (ST) : 55 प्रतिशत (नॉन टीएसपी), 36 प्रतिशत (टीएसपी)
  • अनुसूचित जाति (SC), ओबीसी, एमबीसी व आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग : 55 प्रतिशत
  • समस्त श्रेणी की विधवा और परित्यक्ता महिलाएं एवं भूतपूर्व सैनिक : 50 प्रतिशत
  • दिव्यांग वर्ग : 40 प्रतिशत
  • सहरिया जनजाति : 36 प्रतिशत

REET Exam Pattern 2021 – Level 1 & 2

  • Negative marking will not be there in the exam, numbers won’t be deducted for any wrong answer.
  • Level 1 exam is only for Teachers of Class I to V.
  • Level 2 exam will happen only for Teachers of Class VI to VIII.
  • Total weightage of exam is of 150 marks
  • As already described in below table, time given for exam is limited to 2 hours and 30 mins.
  • Each question will carry 1 marks
  • It’ll have only objective type written question paper. Descriptive questions won’t be asked.

Level 2 Exam Pattern (Class VI to VIII): Everything will be same like Level 1 except in level 2 there won’t be Environmental Studies subject like we have in level 1. Environmental Studies will be replaced by : Mathematics & Science (For Maths & Science Teacher) Social Science for Social Science Teachers – 60 Marks , also 60 Questions in Level 2.
