Age Limit
Age of candidate should be of at least 21 years and must not exceed 40 years as on 1 July 2020. PH Candidates maximum age limit will be of 55 years.
Age Relaxation
(a) Upper age limit shall be greater by five years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes of U.P., Scheduled Tribes of U.P., Other Backward Classes of U.P., Skilled players of U.P. of classified Games, State Govt. employees of U.P. including the teachers/Staff of Basic Shiksha Parishad of U.P. and teachers/Staff of the Govt. Aided Madhyamik Vidyalayas of U.P. i.e.
they must have not been born before 2nd July 1975.
(b) Upper age limit shall be greater by fifteen years for physically handicapped persons of U.P. five years
(c) For Group-“B” posts for the Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers/Ex-Army Personnel’s of U.P. who have rendered five years service in Army but there shall be no reservation for Group- “B” posts. For Group “C” posts the age relaxation and reservation shall be given according to Rule.
Pay Scale / Salary
The posts having the pay scale of 9300–34800/- Grade Pay 4600/- (Revised Pay Scale Level-7 Pay matrix 44900-142400/-) to 15600-39100/- Grade Pay 5400/- (Revised Pay Scale 56100- 177500 Pay Matrix Level-10) are included in aforesaid Examination.

Age Limit (as on 01-07-2020)
- Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years on July 1, 2020 i.e. they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July, 1980 and not later than July 1, 1999.
- For PH candidates, the maximum age limit is 55 years i.e. they must have not been born before 02 July, 1965.

- Now you are on the homepage of UPPSC. Look for “All Notifications/Advertisements” and click on it
- All the Active Recruitments will appear on your screen
- Do select recruitment of your choice and do apply by clicking on Apply button present on each advertisement.
- Registration Page is opened now
- Fill basic details and complete the form to register yourself
- After completion of form do submit it
- Now your registration number will be generated by the portal. It is 11 digit code. Note it somewhere
- Now go to “Fee Deposition/Reconciliation” section
- Submit youur appllication form
- There you have to upload all the required documents like photo , signature in scanned form

UPPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2021: Selection Process
Shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of their score in UPPSC Prelims and Mains Written examination. Please note that not all the candidate will get the chance to sit for Mains exam.
Only those who will qualify Prelims Exam will be allowed to sit for Mains Exam.
All the promoted candidates have to apply for mains by submitting application form for it. candidate applying for more than one subject shall be treated eligible only for the post of the subject in which they appear in the examination.
Recruitment will be done for Lecturer posts in Government Inter College (GIC)
