UPPCL JE Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: (As of 01/ January/ 2020)

Aspirant must have minimum age of at least 18 years and should not cross age of 40 years.

Education Qualification

( A ) Candidates Should have thorough Knowledge of Hindi (Devnagri Script) . The Candidates must Produce a Certificate From The Head of the Institution from Which he Passed out or from a gazette officer in Uttar Pradesh that he can read and write Hindi in the Devnagri Script with ease, provided that such certificate will not be necessary in the case of a candidate who passed the High School or an equivalent Examination with Hindi or Who has obtained a degree, diploma or certificate of any Hindi Examination from an Institution recognized by State Government.

( B ) For Junior Engineer ( Trainee ) Electrical:-

A Candidate Must have Passed- “Three years Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering Awarded by the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or a Diploma, equivalent thereto, recognized by the State Government.”

OR

Three Years All India Diploma Examination In Electrical Engineering Conducted By AICTE.

OR

Diploma Examination In Electrical Engineering Conducted By Any Of The Universities In India Incorporated By An Act Of The Central / State Legislature.

( C ) For Junior Engineer ( Trainee ) Electrical:-

A Candidate Must have Passed- “Three years Diploma Examination in Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering Awarded by the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or a Diploma, equivalent thereto, recognized by the State Government.”

OR

Three Years All India Diploma Examination In Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering Conducted By AICTE.

OR

Diploma Examination In Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering Conducted By Any Of The Universities In India Incorporated By An Act Of The Central / State Legislature.

Please Note: If you hold diploma from Distance Course then it will not be Eligible

Salary For Junior Engineer

Salary will be given according to 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix Level – 7 which is Rs. 44,900 (Minimum is pay matrix). Dearness and Other Allowances admissible as per rules of UPPCL.

• For SC/ ST (Domicile of U.P): Rs. 700/- 
• For Unreserved/ EWS Category/ OBC : Rs. 1000/-
• For Physically Handicap (Only Processing Charges): Rs.10/-
• For Other Categories: Rs. 1000/-
• Payment Mode (Online): Digital Instruments like Net Banking Debit/ Credit card/ SBI bank Challan. Offline Payment is not allowed.

Mode of Selection

Selection will be based on performace of aspirant in written test. Merit List will decide the fate of candidates. Selection Process includes two steps:

• 10 Score Card
• 12 Marksheet
• Scanned copy of clear passport photo (JPG)
• Scanned copy of Candidate Signature (JPG)
• Identity Card (Aadhar, Voter Card, Passport etc)
