Educational Qualification
Those candidates who wish to participate in recruitment of Trade Apprentices in RVNL Vizag Steel must have done ITI with NCVT Certificate in concerned Trade.
Age Limit
Minimum age of candidate should be 18 years and not older than 25 years. Age will be counted from 01 October 2020. Age relaxation is applicable for all the candidates who are from SC, ST, PWD Category. 5 years relaxation is given in maximum age for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD candidates. 15 years for SC/ST and up to 13 years for OBC Non-Creamy Layer PWD Candidates.
Selection Process
Selection of any of the candidate will depend on his performance in Computer Based Test (CBT). This test will be of 120 minutes having questions of Aptitude and Technical segments. MCQ type questions will be asked in the test. Negative marking is not there and total 150 questions will be asked in the exam.
Final selection for engagement of apprentices will be based on Computer Based Test marks. The cut off shall be 50 percentile in case of Un Reserved and EWS candidates, where as it is 40 percentile in case of SC, ST, OBC & PWD candidates in each segment. Candidates, in the order of merit category wise and trade wise will be offered the apprenticeship

Document Verification
On qualifying the Online Compute Based Test, the list of candidates provisionally selected for document verification shall be published on the RINL website. The verification of the original documents shall be done before their joining as apprentices.
The Offer of engagement shall be issued to only those candidates whose documents including medical fitness certificate are found in order. RINL shall have no obligation to offer regular employment to apprentice(s) after the completion of Apprentice training.
