IOCL Western Region Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Technician Apprentice- 3 years Diploma/
- Trade Apprentice- Matric with Regular Full Time ITI
- Trade Apprentice – Accountant: Regular Full Time Graduate in any discipline
- Trade Apprentice-Retail Sales Associate (Skilled Certificate Holders) – 12th pass. Additionally, candidates should possess Skill Certificate of ‘Retail Trainee Associate’ for training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognized under National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Govt
Age Limit
Candidate age should be of 18 years at least and must not be more than 24 years. Age relaxation is permissible to reserved category candidates. Do refer to official notification for complete details. Direct download link of notification PDF is given in the article.
Selection Process
- Selection of any candidate solely depends on his or her performance in written test, for which candidates will get 90 minutes to attempt. More the marks will higher will be the chances of selection
- In written test 100 MCCQ type questions will be asked. There won’t be any detailed questions. Question paper will be in two languages which are English and Hindi.

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Trade Apprentice: Must have done 10th class with regular full-time ITI recognised by NCVT/SCVT.
Technician Apprentice: Candidate must have completed 3 years diploma in engineering in relevant field from a recognized institute with scoring at least 50% aggregated for General, OBC and 45% aggregate in case if candidate is from SC/ST category.
Trade Apprentice Accountant: Must have score at least 50% marks in regular full time graduate certificate if candidate is from General / OBC Category whereas its 45% for those who are from SC/ST category from recognized institute.
Trade Apprentice Data Entry Operator: For freshers, they have to complete 12th standard at least & candidates with Skilled Certificate Holder in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ are eligible.
Trade Apprentice: Retail Sales Associate: Minimum 12th pass. Additionally, candidates should possess Skill Certificate of ‘Retail Trainee Associate’ for training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognized under National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Govt.
Age Limit (as on 31-01-2021)
Candidate must have attained at least 18 years and should not exceed maximum age of 24 years. Age relaxation is given to those who are from reserved categories.
Training Period: IOCL Recruitment 2021
All candidates are required to have at least 12 months of training in all disciplines except for the post of Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices) and Retail Sales Associate (Fresher) under Trade Apprentice.
