Haryana Public Service Commission Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Candidate applying in the recruitment should be of at least 18 years and not older than 42 years on 01 January 2021. But it’s little bit different for the position of DS, candidate should be of at least 18 years and not more than 27 years on 01 January 2021. Those candidates who are from SC/ST/OBC/PWD/PH category will get age relaxation as Government norms.

Educational Qualification

Candidate who want to apply for the recruitment in state of Haryana must holds at least bachelor degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or equivalent. That degree should be from recognized institution. For detailed info regarding qualification criteria do download official notification and go through it.

Application Fee

• For Male General including Dependent Son of Ex-Servicemen of Haryana (DESM), and all reserved categories of other States Candidates Application Fee Rs. 1000/-
• For Female General category including Female Dependent of ESM of Haryana only and all reserved categories of other States Application Fee Rs. 250/-
• For Male & Female candidates of SC / BC-A / BC-B / ESM and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories of Haryana only, all Persons with Disabilities category candidates (with at least 40% disability) of Haryana only. Application Fee Rs. 250/-

Selection Process

Selection of any candidate totally depends on his / her performance in the mains exam. Merit list will decide who holds the highest chances of selection. Now the question is how it will be made? What is the criteria behind it. Right? Merit list will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by candidate in the main examination and viva voce. This will be of 675 marks in total.

HPSC Judicial Service Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidate applying for the recruitment must have done at least Bachelor of Laws from university which is approved/recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Age Limit (as on 15/02/2021)

• Minimum age limit is 21 years while upper limit is of 42 years which means that candidate age should not be more than 42 years

Age Relaxation

Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates. 05 Years of age relaxation is given in maximum age to SC/ST, Backward class, Ex-Military Serviceman and 3 years relaxation is given to unmarried women who are living in Haryana.

Also 10 years of age relaxation is given to Physically Challenged category candidates of Haryana (15 years for SCs/STs/BCs/ of Haryana)

Selection Process

Selection of candidate solely depends on his performance in various phases. Best performing candidates will be shortlisted from the crowd. Those phases are as follows:

1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Written Examination
3. Viva-Voce

HPSC Judicial Service 2021: Exam Pattern

Prelims Exam

In prelims question paper 125 MCQs will be asked. Every question arries 4 marks. Negative marking is there.

For each wrong attempt 0.80 i.e. 20% or say l/5th mark shall be deducted. Time given to attempt exam will be of 120 Minutes. All the candidates must have to score at leas 150 marks in exam to get qualified.

Mains Examination

All the candidates who will score 150 marks in prelims will be called for Mains exam. Mains Examination shall consist of six papers (five written and one viva- voce)
