BARC Recruitment 2021 Jr. Research Fellow: Age Limit
Applicant who is applying for Fellowship must be Indian. Upper limit of age is 28 years from last date of application form.
Relaxation given for reserved category. Up to 3 years in case of Other Backward Class applicants, 5 years in case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and 10 years in case of persons with disabilities.
BARC Jr. Research Fellow: Salary
- Junior Research Fellows (JRF) (2 Years): Rs.31,000
- Upgraded to Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) (3rd Year): Rs.35,000
Fellowship tenure should not be of more than 5 years. They will get contingency grant including book allowance of 40,000/- per year. Along with this they will also receive House Rent Allowance of 7440/- p.m.(JRF) and 8400/- p.m. (SRF).
Continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and review at the end of each year.
On satisfactory performance, the tenure of Fellowship will be further extended and upgraded to Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from the third year onwards with a stipend of 35000/- per month (consolidated).
Selection Process of BARC Recruitment 2021
- Each application will be checked by officials and shortlisting will be done for interview which will be according to the performance of candidate in qualifying examination.
- First screening will be done on the basis of previous educational record of applicants
- Further selection of applicants will be done on the basis of their performance in nationwide screening test.
